Tony Scarborough 19.09.1957 - 16.06.2021

Blackpool Cricket Club are saddened to announce the passing of former player and long

standing member, Tony Scarborough.


Tony was 4th XI Team Captain for a number of years and also a talented table tennis player, representing BCC on numerous occasions. Away from the club he was a passionate radio broadcaster on local hospital radio.

The Club, Committee and all Members and friends of Tony pass on their sincere condolences at this sad time.


Tony's funeral is to be held at 1.15pm Friday, 2nd June, 2021 at Carleton Crematorium. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions the seating in the chapel has been fully allocated (30 persons). However the ceremony will be live streamed please see below for details.


After the funeral all his family and friends are invited to attend Blackpool Cricket Club for refreshments (approx 2.30pm).
