We at Blackpool Cricket Club pride ourselves on our Junior Setup.

We take our cricket and our training seriously but always focus on having fun and so in addition to over 100 fixtures taking place during the summer, the club are keen to include all members in their frequent socials including our Junior end of season award night.

Our links with local schools in the community are very strong as the club has been selected to participate in the nationwide “Chance to Shine” initiative run by the Cricket Foundation. This involves our ECB club coaches delivering weekly coaching sessions in both secondary and primary schools in the area.

In recent years Blackpool have produced First Class Cricketers Steven Croft (Lancashire CCC) and Richard Gleeson (Northamptonshire CCC & Cumberland CCC).

Our Juniors have won the Palace Shield Rose Trophy (Under 17s) and Tom Jenkins Trophy (Under 15s) more than any other club.
